There is nothing I love more than having repeat clients and getting to see families as they grow and change, I especially love it when they are as cute as Emeline! I met Kelly and her two beautiful little girls at The Asheville Botanical Gardens on a sunny afternoon in late May. I had fun interacting with Emeline and seeing how at the age of one she enjoys playing with her babydoll and balls and already looks up to her older sister, Gaby, so much! Gaby and Emeline are the sweetest sister pair and I can't wait to see them even more over the coming years.

The simple joy of blowing dandelions into the wind captured Beckett's attention and I was able to see the magic that they possess through a child's eyes! I am no philosopher, but watching my nephew at my sister's maternity session I was again reminded of how life is about the simple things.... a hug from a loved one, picking fresh flowers and giving them to someone you love, laying on a quilt staring up at the sky.  Nisha's maternity session was about capturing the beauty of family and the special time before a new life is brought into the world.  To quote the wise woman Laura Ingalls Wilder,"it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all."
