Today's Session Friday features my own beautiful niece, Emersyn Paige! Isn't she just the cutest little thing you've ever seen?!! Ok....it is true, I may be slightly biased, but what aunt doesn't love a little girl to play dress up with and buy pretty pink clothes?  Emersyn Paige was born to Lisa and Josh this past December and we are so delighted that she is finally here. Lisa and Josh are amazing parents and I can't wait for my next trip down to Greensboro to see little Emme.  Lisa and I had so much fun playing dress-up with Emersyn to capture these sweet, girly photos.  Enjoy the baby girl sweetness below!

Tiffany & Chip's Engagement Session by Asheville, NC Portrait Photographer

Tiffany and Chip were the winners of the engagement session giveaway I hosted at the beginning of January and I had an absolute blast taking their engagement photos!!  We started out their session last Sunday by meeting at The Asheville Botanical Gardens on the UNCA Campus.  Tiffany and Chip were wonderful at braving the cold weather and the muddy gardens (due to some rain the day before).  We had a lot of fun there walking the trails and taking pictures down by the river, I joked with them that they didn't know they were going to have to work out at their engagement session because we definitely got some exercise in.  After going to the botanical gardens we went to Grand Bohemian Hotel in Biltmore Village to finish their session.   They will be getting married at the Grand Bohemian Hotel on June 9th of this year!! The grand oak doors and lions in front of the hotel were the perfect backdrop for some romantic engagement photos.  Tiffany and Chip are a wonderful couple, whose love for each other is so evident in everything they do and say.  Congratulations!!

Gabe's Newborn Session by Asheville, NC Portrait Photographer

Meet Baby Gabe! I recently had the pleasure of doing his newborn session! I know baby Gabe's parents (Jess & Hayden) through the church my hubby and I attend.  Jess and Hayden are seriously some of the sweetest most hospitable people you will ever meet, so it should come as no surprise that their bundle of joy, Gabe, is such a sweet, fun little one to be around.  I loved getting to capture the special moments between this precious little family of three! 

Asheville North Carolina Engagement Session Giveaway!!

  The picture that you see above is from my hubby and I's engagement session nearly 2 years ago.  The day we got engaged was one of the happiest days of my life and I just remember feeling like I was living in a dream.....that is why I am so so happy that we chose to have an engagement session done to document that period in our life.  Getting engaged, getting married, graduating, having a baby...these are all HUGE life occasions that deserve to be celebrated and captured through pictures, which is why in honor of the new year and my 21st birthday I have decided to do a giveaway and the winner of the giveaway will win a FREE engagement session!

Here are the details:

1.)  Email me a picture of you and your fiance to gabrielle@gvhphotographie.com (please send photos in .jpg format).  The picture needs to show the two of you and the engagement ring, it can be as simple or as creative as you would like it to be.

2.) I will accept submissions until Sunday, January 8th at 11:30pm (EST).  The contest will begin Sunday, January 8th at 12am (EST).  The contest will end the following Sunday,  January 15th at 12am (EST). I will then select a winner and notify them via email.

3.) All the photos that get sent to me for the contest will be posted in an album on my facebook photography page: https://www.facebook.com/GVHphotographie entitled "Engagement Session Giveaway Entries," and each photo will be labeled with a number and your names (if possible I will tag you on facebook).  The couple whose photo receives the most likes on my facebook photography page will win the giveaway.  The way people vote for your photo is by going to the "Engagement Session Giveway Entries Album," and hitting the "like," button on your photo.

4.)The more you share about the contest on facebook and twitter, the better!! If you want to win, you've got to bring the voters in :)

Here are the rules:

1.) The contest will begin on Sunday, January 8th at 12am (EST) and end on Sunday, January 15th at 12am (EST).  Any votes placed before or after those times will not count.

2.) People can only vote once for ONE photo, so no double voting.

3.) The session must be used by the end of July 2012.

4.) The session has to take place in Asheville, North Carolina or within 30 miles of it or traveling fees will apply.  

5.) You must sign a photo contract stating that I, Gabrielle von Heyking Photographie, can use any and all photos taken in the session on my blog, website, facebook, twitter, or any other means that I might use to promote my photography and my photography services.
6.) This contest is in no way affiliated or endorsed by Facebook.
